Musa Kurra Abubakar Re-elected President of Nigeria Association of Auctioneers at Annual General Meeting

The Nigeria Association of Auctioneers, (NAA), have conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and re-elected the new National President & ExCos of the union.

During the Annual General Meeting held in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, in Nigeria’s South-West region, Musa Kurra Abubakar emerged as the newly re-elected president of the union for four years.

Nigeria Association of Auctioneers is an institute handling any auction activities in Nigeria under the regulatory body; Bureau of Public Procurement, (BPP), which is established to professionalise auction in Nigeria & Proceeds of Crimes Act, (POCA), which was recently established during previous administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The POCA also stated that any auction activities without engaging the registered auctioneers would be considered as illegal sales.

In his speech, the newly-elected president of NAA, Musa Kurra Abubakar, urged the entire members of the association to give him all required support in upgrading the standards of the union as well as respecting & safeguarding the law & order of the NAA Constitution.
